Ranger Body Armor Generation II

The PS-940 Ranger Body Armor Lightweight is the next generation of the combat proven RBA for special missions. While the RBA-LW maintains the same protection against all of today's military small arms fire threats as RBA, it offers an increased level of protection against fragmentation weapons at a reduced weight. This protection is accomplished while providing an increased level of comfort to the wearer when tested against government defined range of motions. The RBA-LW meets the current requirement of a lighter weight solution with an even higher degree of mobility, flexibility, durability, and comfort. The RBA-LW features an increased modular design by permitting additional items to be added. These include a folding ballistic collar, ammunition pouches, equipment pouches, fire retardant carrier and lightweight plates.

The PS-940 comes in desert camouflage, woodlands camouflage, and black.
