AV-3 SARVIP

The AV-3 Survival Vest is the product of 15 years of "battlefield tested" development program. As one component of a modular system, the AV-3 provides rotary aviation personnel with the capability to carry mission essential gear. This item integrates with other survival equipment such as a life preserver, MOPP gear, and armor.

The AV-3 incorporates an internal emergency extraction lift harness assembly and equipment pouches, specifically configured for all necessary survival items. These items include signaling devices, communications, environmental packets and more. The AV-3 is manufactured with a high strength, fire retardant raschel knit material to allow maximum ventilation while providing maximum durability, minimum restriction of mobility in the cockpit. The AV-3 can be rapidly donned and doffed. This aviation survival vest requires low maintenance while providing the highest level of flame protection.

The AV-3 integrates with the PA-560 Small Arms Protective Insert. This insert was designed by the US Army to protect the wearer against .50 caliber AP ammunition.
