US Army HMMWV Medevac with installed LVCPS II system

LVCPS II is the result of a second generation development program for HMMWV protection. This SOF HMMWV upgrades to 11-12 lbs. anti-tank mines. The kit is designed to protect all occupants of any non up-armored HMMWV. LVCPS II absorbs all loads or vents loads with no occupant injuries. LVCPS II is US government test by SOF and ARL and defeated 12 lbs. Chinese Comp-B anti-tank mines. The weight of this system is below 600 lbs. The LVCPS II design has been tested on various military "obstacle courses." On rough terrain, a HMMWV with the LVCPS II modification can accelerate from 0 - 50 mph in less than 10 seconds. This system has been battlefield tested in Somalia , Haiti , Bosnia , Kosovo , Afghanistan and Iraq .
