For more than four decades, Protective Materials Company has been manufacturing Bullet and Blast-resistant products for the United States Department of Defense .

The Protective Material Company's expertise exists in the custom design and on-site installation of numerous Advanced Lightweight Armor systems for military aircraft and land vehicles. We also specialize in the design of a variety of other Bullet and Blast-resistant products including but not limited to: Personnel Body Armor and Survival Systems; EOD suits, helmets and communications gear; and Weapons Security Locker Systems.

Most recently, Protective Materials Company was awarded the contract by the U.S. Army Materials Command (AMCOM) to manufacture the Ballistic Protection System (BPS) for DOD helicopters.  The system features the latest, state-of-the-art technology available today used to create a modular, lightweight, multi-hit capability armor system designed for use in many helicopters currently deployed in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" and "Operation Enduring Freedom."
